The Living on the Streets of Barcelona guide gathers the public and private resources in the city that people living on the streets can access directly, without needing a referral from social services.
On this site, you will find specific resources for women, totally or with exclusive services and schedules. If you live on the street and have suffered gender violence, check out this page.

Where to rest during the day
Sant Gervasi First Reception Residential Centre
- Address: c/ del Císter, 20
- How do I get there? Ferrocarril L7 – Av. Tibidabo
- Schedule: Everyday, from Monday to Sunday, 8 a.m. until 8 p.m.
- Additional information: You can also speak with an educator and ask them to use the hygienic services.
Metzineres
- Address: c/ Lluna, 3
- How do I get there? Metro L2 Sant Antoni
- Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- Additional information: Space specifically for women and people who identify as one. You can come with your pet. There is an area with beds to rest.
Meridiana Day-care Centre
- Address: Meridiana, 197
- How do I get there? Metro L1 Navas
- Schedule: Every day from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Additional information: You can stay to have a rest, but you will need to speak to someone from the Centre first. The Centre has a separate service for women, with privacy.
Assís Reception Centre
- Address: c/ Via Augusta, 405-407
- How do I get there? Metro L6 Reina Elisenda
- Schedule: There is a specific area for women, from Monday to Friday 8.15 a.m. until 11.15 a.m.
- Additional information: You can come with your pet; it’s preferable if they have a muzzle.

- Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- Additional information: They offer cold dishes and sandwiches that you can eat during the afternoon. Space for women who live on the streets and use drugs. You can bring your pet.
Taking a shower

- Additional information: You can take a shower and also change clothes and rest.
Meridiana Day-care Centre

- Schedule: Every day from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Additional information: You will also find a cloakroom service. You can bring your pet. On Thursdays, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., there are specific activities for women (talks, workshops, outings, etc.).

- Schedule: Every day, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Additional information: You can take a shower and change clothes in a separate space for women and wash your clothes.
Nou Barris Day-care Centre

- How do I get there? Metro L4 Llucmajor
- Schedule: From Monday to Friday, 9.30 a.m. until 10 a.m.
- Additional information: You can take a shower. You will be able to book an appointment to get a haircut or to do laundry once a week.

- Additional information: This service helps with foreign residency procedures and registration. They also offer legal and juridical guidance, with a specific service for women.
If you live on the street and are a sex worker
Àmbit Prevenció
- Address: c/ Sant Rafael, 16
- How do I get there? Metro L3 Liceu
- Schedule: Tuesdays from 9 a.m. until 11:30 p.m. and Wednesdays from 3:30 p.m. until 5 p.m.
- Additional information: If you are a woman actively using drugs and living on the street, you can go here. They can guide you on sexual health and violence prevention. On Fridays, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., there is a dedicated space for women at the location on c/ Robador, 15.
